Graham Childs
Principal Director

 

 

Graham has developed people management and reward strategies for many leading companies and institutions, including Sensis, Optus, Bombardier, ANZ Bank and, AustralianSuper.

 

Graham has extensive experience working with Local Government, having been deeply involved in the development and implementation of the Local Government Award in 1992 and has since worked with over a dozen Councils, providing advice on job evaluations, salary structures, reward strategies and the outcomes of employee surveys.

 

Prior to joining Mastertek, Graham was for nine years the Director Human Capital for Watson Wyatt and presently serves on the Board of CanTeen.

 

Jamie Anderson
Senior Consultant

 

 

Jamie joined Mastertek as a Senior Consultant 2008, bringing with him his specialist skills in the design of strategic reward solutions.  Jamie is currently the Vice-President of the Australian Employee Ownership Association and a member of the Performance Management Institute of Australia.

 

Jamie has extensive experience in the remuneration and benefits arena, spanning both public and private sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom. In the private sector, Jamie’s focus has been on the design and implementation of short and long term reward strategies that drive employee engagement and retention in challenging labour environments, working with companies such as Westpac Banking Corporation, Aristocrat Leisure Limited, Oil Search Limited and Johnson and Johnson.

 

Through his public sector engagements Jamie worked with the UK’s Cabinet Office, Lord Chancellor’s Department, Court Service and Maritime and Coastguard Agency as well as a host of Local Council's based in Australia's NSW. Some of the major challenges facing those organisations included addressing equal pay legislation, aligning reward strategies to individual and organisational performance and managing costs in the best interest of taxpayers.

 

 

Karen Vandenberg
Senior Consultant

 

 

Karen joined Mastertek as a Senior Consultant in 2001. In this time, Karen has developed people management and rewards strategies for a number of high profile clients including Oil Search, National Hire, Woolworths and Peoplebank, whilst in the area of Executive Remuneration, has developed LTI plans for companies operating in the retail, construction and recruitment industries.

 

Karen is central to the delivery of Mastertek’s employee opinion surveys and 360° feedback, drawing on her consulting experience to offer a perceptive interpretation of results and practical advice on actioning change.

 

Karen has a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, both from Macquarie University.

 

Macleay Christopherson
Senior Consultant

 

 

Macleay joined Mastertek as a Senior Consultant in 2006 after gaining extensive commercial experience in the telecommunications industry. With broad exposure to many different types of businesses, Macleay is highly accomplished in the areas of financial modelling, profitability analysis, process design and strategic planning, bringing these skills to bear on projects with Sensis, Anglo Coal and Peoplebank.

 

His analytical approach, combined with an empathetic attitude to dealing with people, is well suited to Mastertek’s partnership approach to consulting, fostering many long-standing relationships with clients.

 

Macleay has bachelor degrees in both Electrical Engineering (Hons) and Commerce from The University of Sydney
