A Competency Based Approach to Job Evaluation
Summary of Course Content
This half day training program examines the concept of job evaluation, including strengths and limitations and how job evaluation can best be applied to meet your organisations requirements. The traditional method of using a points system to evaluate or value the relative worth of a job is often difficult to administer, can contribute to a hierarchical culture, can be difficult to communicate and can place too much emphasis on the need for employees to be promoted to a higher grade to receive a salary increase, rather than being rewarded for the development of their skills. This remuneration training course looks at variations to the traditional approach of job evaluation. The course is designed to provide a simple to adopt methodology that is easy to understand, administer and enables consistent, fair and easily justifiable pay decisions to be made across the organisation. Cost $495 plus GST.
